Woman gives tour of beautiful log tiny cabin she built herself on $5k budget
In order to live alone in the wilderness, Natalie built her home amidst the trees.
However, Natalie thinks ahead of time.
She intended to expand the house when she built it, and she would do it a few years later. Eight or nine years ago, Natalie built her home in Asheville, North Carolina.
The initial plan was for a log cabin with round logs.
As Natalie put it, “Building with round logs is pretty challenging, especially when you get round meets square.”
She adhered to her spending plan.
Because the other materials were salvaged and the logs came from the land, she was able to keep the initial cost of construction around $5,000.
In addition, Natalie and her pals helped build the house. It was a two-story, four hundred square foot cabin that was ideal for her.
She had a lower-level dining area and a separate kitchen with a wood burner and plenty of storage. Additionally, the second floor housed her office and bedroom.\
But after giving birth to her daughter a few years later, she added an additional bedroom to her home.
The house grew from 400 square feet to 700 square feet.
Every single inch was cherished by Natalie.
She was also able to construct an outdoor porch and a greenhouse because she had built her house in the natural world.
In order to capitalize on the lovely outside ambiance, she constructed an outdoor bedroom.
