Devoted Dog Curls Up Beside Gordon Lightfoot’s Casket During Memorial Service in Homage to His Love for Dogs

Among the attendees, an old companion named Taurus, a dog closely associated with one of Lightfoot’s tour staff members, offered a poignant moment as he snuggled up by the late musician’s side.

Longtime Lightfoot spokeswoman Victoria Lord revealed that Taurus and Gordon had formed a close bond during their time on the road together. “He used to go on the road with him and wait for Gordon side stage,” Lord shared. “Gordon loved dogs.”
