Grandma Who Married Man 37 Years Younger Than Her Announces Huge Baby News
A grandma married to a man 37 years younger than her has announced some huge baby news.
Cheryl McGregor is a 63-year-old mom of seven and a grandma of 17.
Her age-gap relationship with 26-year-old Quran McCain has gone viral on TikTok.
The couple originally met when McGregor was 52 and McCain was 15 and after reconnecting in 2020, they tied the knot the following year.
They recently revealed to fans that they are expecting a baby and now there’s another update.
Although the couple’s dream of starting a family is coming true, the relationship has not been easy – online trolls have told them their age gap is ‘so wrong on so many levels.’
One TikTok user said: “Bro wasn’t even alive when she was in high school.”
Another one added: “Y’all wrong for this.”
“Bro she is old enough to be yo momma,” somebody else commented.
The couple have always defended their relationship, with McGregor saying ‘he makes me happy.’
In a new interview with Kita Rose on Unmedicated & Educated, the grandma explained: “He gives me a lot of things that nobody has ever gave me, he builds me up, tells me I’m beautiful.”
As McGregor is no longer able to conceive naturally, the pair have embarked on a surrogacy journey.
In May, they announced they were having a child through a surrogate – but it hasn’t been a smooth sailing process.
McCain recently posted a video saying he’s been going ‘through hell‘ as the surrogate allegedly messaged him saying she ‘did not want to do this anymore’.
He claimed the surrogate’s mom had gotten involved and believed the pair were only having a baby for ‘likes and views.’
McCain clapped back, stating: “Lady, you have never took one day out of your time to meet us, yet you trying to take something that’s not yours.”
While this understandably left the couple stressed, everything appears to be back on track now.
McGregor and McCain posted a video of their gender reveal on July 8, and now they are receiving congratulations from fans.
One follower says: “That’s so sweet, I’m so happy for you guys.”
A second fan comments: “That’s so cute and you all need to stop judging people without knowing their story first!”
“Congratulations king and queen,” somebody else writes.
The gender reveal video shows McGregor wearing a pink slash that reads ‘Mommy To Be.’
While surrounded by friends and family, the couple fires a gender-reveal confetti canon.
It’s revealed they are expecting a baby girl – delighted, McGregor jumps for joy and embraces her husband.
