Rick Harrison Is Mourning
Rick Harrison, creator and lead of “Pawn Stars,” is mourning the loss of his son, Adam Harrison, who passed away at 39 from a drug overdose. The cause was confirmed as a toxic mix of fentanyl and methamphetamine, ruled an accident by the Clark County Coroner. Adam was a plumber and not a regular on the show but worked at the family’s Gold & Silver Pawn shop.
Fentanyl-related deaths are a growing crisis in the U.S., with the CDC reporting 73,654 deaths in 2022. Rick’s representative, Laura Herlovich, requested privacy for the family. Rick shared a heartfelt Instagram tribute, stating, “You will always be in my heart! I love you Adam.” His oldest son, Corey Harrison, also paid tribute on social media, sharing a childhood photo and writing, “I will always love you bubba.”
The Las Vegas Metro Police Department is investigating the circumstances of Adam’s death. Rick emphasized the need to address the fentanyl crisis, highlighting its deadly potency. He called for unified efforts to combat the crisis, stressing the fatal danger of even minimal exposure to fentanyl. The Harrison family’s tragic loss underscores the urgent need for action against this epidemic.
