The first thing he considered was to research builders which helped him a lot in mastering and building a house with nothing but his two own hands. They not only taught him basic technics and skills, but also gave him great motivation and inspiration.
His choice ultimately fell on one craftsman shop. It is run by builder and designer Shannon Black. Derek chose a 28-foot-long layout. There is enough space which created a feeling of freedom and independence.
